# Jobs

The Global-e SFCC cartridges ship scheduled jobs that synchronize configuration, catalog data, product restrictions, outbound order notifications, and inbound order-status fallback between SFCC and Global-e. Job definitions are imported from `metadata/jobs.xml`; step implementations live in the `int_globale` cartridge.

After [Installation](https://docs.global-e.com/installation-sfcc.md), import job schedules and run **GlobaleSettings** manually before enabling other jobs. New integrations must also complete [Data API](https://docs.global-e.com/configuration-sfcc.md#data-api-mandatory-for-new-integrations) OCAPI setup so Global-e can start configuration sync over OCAPI when needed. ## Typical setup order

**Step 1**

Import `metadata/jobs.xml` and assign **GlobaleSettings** flows to each Global-e site context.

**Step 2**

Run **GlobaleSettings** manually and confirm `GLOBALE_*` custom objects are populated.

**Step 3**

Enable **GlobaleCatalogFeed** on a schedule that matches your catalog update frequency (see [GlobaleCatalogFeed](https://docs.global-e.com/globale-catalog-feed-sfcc.md)).

**Step 4**

Enable **GlobaleProducts** on staging/development only; replicate product attribute data to production via SFCC catalog replication (see [GlobaleProducts](https://docs.global-e.com/globale-products-sfcc.md)).

**Step 5**

Enable **GlobaleOrderNotifications** when outbound order notifications are in scope; wire the required [hooks](https://docs.global-e.com/hooks-sfcc.md) in your order flows (see [GlobaleOrderNotifications](https://docs.global-e.com/globale-order-notifications-sfcc.md)).

**Step 6**

Configure SFTP credentials and enable **GlobaleOrderStatusFallback** only when Global-e has enabled the inbound order-status SFTP feed for the merchant (optional — see [Order status SFTP fallback](https://docs.global-e.com/order-status-sftp-fallback-sfcc.md) and [GlobaleOrderStatusFallback](https://docs.global-e.com/globale-order-status-fallback-sfcc.md)).

**Step 7**

Add **GlobaleCouponRedemptions** only when coupon verification during failover is required (see [GlobaleCouponRedemptions](https://docs.global-e.com/globale-coupon-redemptions-sfcc.md)).

**Step 8**

Add **GlobaleRestrictedItemsFeed** when you push product restrictions to Global-e by SKU, brand, or category; create the job manually in Business Manager (see [GlobaleRestrictedItemsFeed](https://docs.global-e.com/globale-restricted-items-feed-sfcc.md)).
