# RMA Notifications (from Global‑e)

> Global-e sends the RMA number and return details to the merchant via the SendRMAInfoMerchant API.

Send Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) to the merchant. Global‑e calls this API after a customer generates a label from the Return Portal.

This API streamlines the refund process for merchants. Merchants can initiate refunds directly from the Shopify Admin. Supports Shopify's ability to get the return shipping fee when creating a return in their system.
