# Rotating Your Merchant GUID

Follow these steps to rotate your Merchant GUID on ShopWare. All steps start in your store admin.

> **Before you start**
>
> * Have your new Merchant GUID to hand.
> * Your Merchant ID does not change.
> * Questions? Contact your Global-e account manager.

## Steps

**1. Open your store admin**

Navigate to your store admin.

**2. Open your extensions**

Navigate to **Extensions → My Extensions**.

**3. Configure the extension**

Find **Global-e Cross-Border** and press **Configure**.

**4. Update the GUID**

Under **Global-e API Settings**, update the **Merchant GUID**.
